This test is the second part of blended learning. After completing the ACLS HeartCode online, students must pass a skills test to receive the ACLS provider’s card.
STUDENTS MUST PROVIDE AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION ONLINE COMPLETION CERTIFICATE TO TAKE THIS SKILLS TEST.
For all courses and skills sessions, please wear comfortable clothing and covered footwear, as students will be physically active and will be performing necessary life-saving skills.

The American Heart Association (AHA) CPR/AED/First Aid course is designed for the general public who need it for employment and/or to prepare for an emergency.
BLS is a course for Healthcare Professionals that covers CPR for adults, children, and infants. It is mainly required by nursing and EMT programs and is the foundation course for ACLS and PALS.
This course is offered in-person or through Blended e-learning, combining Heartcode BLS Online and BLS skills sessions with an AHA instructor.
PALS is geared toward healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children and for personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units.
