This course is for students entering the healthcare field and practicing as healthcare providers, such as CNAs, Nurses, EMTs, Physicians, Respiratory therapists, physical therapists, Dental offices, and others.
Students participate in this conventional instructor-led course, pass the skills session, and pass a written exam.
The American Heart Association BLS providers’ completion card is issued after a successful written exam and skills test.
AHA requires that every student MUST have a current textbook. If you have one, please bring it with you to class.
This happens in two parts:

This test is the second part of the blended learning. After completing the online HeartCode, you must take and pass the skills test to receive your AHA BLS providers’ card.
STUDENTS MUST PROVIDE AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION ONLINE COMPLETION CERTIFICATE TO TAKE THIS SKILLS TEST.
For all courses and skills sessions, please wear comfortable clothing and covered footwear, as students will be physically active and will be performing necessary life-saving skills.
