PALS

PALS training is designed for healthcare providers who care for critically ill or injured infants and children. It focuses on many topics, including pediatric assessment, prevention, recognition, and managing pediatric life-threatening emergencies, such as –

respiratory distress,

cardiac arrest, and

shock.

The training equips healthcare professionals with the necessary skills to provide high-quality care to pediatric patients.

PALS initial

This is for healthcare providers who are taking this course for the first time or a previous provider with expired card.

This is a conventional instructor-led course, with case scenario tests and a written test. The written test MUST be done on another day, according to American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.

PALS Renewal

This is a course for advanced care providers who need to get recertification for their valid American Heart Association PALS provider’s card.

PALS Skills test

This test is the second part of blended learning. After completing the PALS HeartCode online, students need to pass a skills test to receive the PALS providers card.
