Basic Life Support (BLS )
BLS course is delivered according to American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. This course focuses on :
- Recognition of loss of breathing and/or heartbeat.
- Providing high-quality CPR either as 1 rescuer or multiple rescuers.
- Use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Use of face mask or Bag Ventilation Mask (BVM) to deliver rescue breaths.
- Relief of choking.
¿Quién necesita este curso?
This course is for students entering the healthcare field and practicing as healthcare providers, such as CNAs, Nurses, EMTs, Physicians, Respiratory therapists, physical therapists, Dental offices, and others.
Students participate in this conventional instructor-led course, pass the skills session, and pass a written exam.
The American Heart Association BLS providers’ completion card is issued after a successful written exam and skills test.

AHA requires that every student MUST have a current textbook. If you have one, please bring it with you to class.
This happens in two parts:
- Students will complete the BLS HeartCode online from the comfort of their homes.
- Come to our location for the skills session. Use the knowledge from the BLS HeartCode to pass this skills test.
The American Heart Association BLS providers’ completion card is issued after a successful skills test.
- Precio – $100 (It includes – Heartcode BLS & Skills test)
This test is the second part of the blended learning. After completing the online HeartCode, you must take and pass the skills test to receive your AHA BLS providers’ card.
